Sentara is hiring a Team Coordinator for our Specialty Pharmacy team at Norfolk General Hospital!

This position is designed to oversee our Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation and provide support to our Specialist Pharmacy Team!

Required qualifications:

  • Three years Pharmacist experience

  • 1 year of leadership experience(Experience as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist can be substituted for leadership experience)

  • Datal Analytic experience

  • Virginia Pharmacist license REQUIRED

  • BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree REQUIRED

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) REQUIRED within 6 months of hire

  • Will consider pharmacists not licensed in Virginia/NC due to relocation. Must have Virginia or North Carolina (applicable to location) license within 90 days of Sentara start date.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides formal clinical and operational leadership to pharmacy care team members

  • Serves as clinical expert and resource within the division setting and the affiliated services

  • Develops and implements new and existing clinical and operational programs

  • Works as a Clinical Pharmacist based on the workflow needs of the team
