Job Description
Shift 1 (United States of America)

Develop comprehensive sales quotations, track order progress, intervene with customers and internal organization on order issues, participate in customer discussion when required for sales support, work closely with sales organization to determine order specifications, work with manufacturing to set delivery dates and resolve issues. Help develop less experienced SPE's when required.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare sales quotations for sales organization
  • Develop equipment cost analysis for elements of proposals
  • Process orders, provide information to order entry process, coordinate engineering design and machine build progress, check machine completion and status.
  • Advise and support sales and customers in the selection of the correct equipment for specific applications
  • Communicate with salesforce and customers
  • Investigate problem orders and provide improvement suggestions
  • Relay confirmed ship dates to sales
  • Help in the development of sales tools
  • Provide input on sales quotations and sales literature for customers
  • Track order progress and resolve order issues
  • Stay current on regulations involving machine manufacture
  • Provide technical support and direction for existing product lines
  • Help train new SPE's and sales personnel

Competencies

  • Should be able to work with multiple projects (multi-task) in a specialty product environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC based applications, including Microsoft Office.

  • Oracle ERP and Salesforce CRM exposure

Work Environment

  • Employee may be regularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.

Physical Demands

  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Do to the open environment of the warehouse/shop, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Must be available for OT/Weekends as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of related experience or equivalent years of experience and training
  • Combination of education and experience as described above

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering
