Our Resident Education and Development team is responsible for providing leadership in the development of a positive community within the residence communities. Our goal is to be a partner in students' educational journey through an intentional, educational and vibrant residential experience!
The Assistant Director of Training and Development provides leadership, oversight, and
administration for the Department of Resident Education and Development (RED). This position is expected to create opportunities for students and professional staff members and serves as the primary resource for staff regarding training and development. Additionally, the Assistant Director provides leadership and support to the Resident Assistant (RA) training and development initiatives through overseeing the departments' training and development committee. This role requires the ability to take initiative, facilitation, and work collaboratively with others. The Assistant Director in this role will also serve as a liaison between various campus partners. This position reports to the Associate Director for Resident Education and Development.
Bachelor's Degree must be in College Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration or related field.
