Job Description

- Effectively manage inventory levels of spare parts utilizing forecasting software tools and MRP systems. Review and maintain forecasts, reorder points, lot sizes, lead times, and safety stock, and regularly report effectiveness of planning by managing alert messages, backorders and/or inventory
stock-outs.
- Review demand requisitions and convert to purchase orders. Ensure suppliers execute to contracted costs, lead times, quantities and delivery dates. Resolve any associated issues with shortages, invoices or credits.
- Plan production or repair workorders for internally manufactured or repaired items. Review open workorders and due dates, and expedite with manufacturing or repair center to ensure service needs are met. Coordinate regular reporting of open, completed, and past-due workorders.
- Expedite parts shortages or repair/production schedules in response to stock-outs, backorders or non-forecasted demand, with supplier or responsible buyers or planners in both internal and external locations.
- Coordinate repair/rework of service inventory through outside suppliers and internal work areas. Maintain inventory balances and purchase orders for repairable items. Review costs annually to ensure targeted profit margins are realized.
- Manage lifecycles for assigned materials. Coordinate the sale, return or scrap of slow-moving or end-of-life material. Review returned materials and coordinate efforts to "use as is"; repair; or scrap.
- Review and implement ECOs, Service Bulletins, and product lifecycle changes. Maintain proper master data elements, forecasts, and purchasing messages for assigned materials in the company database.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent discipline

- Minimum three (3) years' experience in purchasing, planning, materials, manufacturing, or inventory control.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in planning or purchasing of electronic components or service spare parts in a manufacturing or service environment, or with OEM / Logistics partners.

- Intermediate computer skills, including ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards), and MS Office Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Experience in FDA-regulated environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; includes presentation skills. Problem solving capability is crucial.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management a plus (ASCM/APICS or similar)

The annual pay range for this position is $72,500 -$90,600

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is eligible for a performance bonus.
