Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising the warehouse operations and staff and ensuring the policies and procedures of the company for safety and compliance are met. Overseeing the shipping and receiving of all materials for each job site. They ensure each job is serviced equally, monitors material levels in the warehouse to ensure appropriate working levels are maintained for the company.

Responsibilities
    Supervises the Warehouse operations and staff. Responsible for the timely shipping and delivery of materials. Coordinates and assigns workloads, provides training, guidance, and assistance, as needed.
  • Pulls tickets and reviews each material list prior to filling. Ensure orders are filled properly, and paperwork is distributed to all areas and filed appropriately. Maintains all back orders of tools and advises interested parties.
  • Coordinates routes and any issues between all concerned parties. Sets up delivery routes to meet deadlines while ensuring efficient use of company vehicles.
  • Responsible for ensuring that shipped and received materials pass through proper channels. Ensures documentation is distributed to all appropriate areas. Inspects, processes, and stores materials, as needed.
  • Directs the paper flow between Purchasing, the Tool Room, and Pre-Fab. Maintains copies of all appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate fuel levels. Follows the cost of crude to ensure fuel is purchased at the best price for the Company. Verifies the price, purchases fuel, and ensures the delivery.
  • Provides training, guidance, and assistance, as needed such as training employees in planning, assigning, and directing/monitoring work; appraising performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Ensures warehouse staff fills orders.
  • Oversees the annual inventory audit of the warehouse.
  • May oversees the daily mail pick up from the Post Office
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); 1 to 2 years warehouse experience in a lead capacity; or combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid CDL and clean driving record.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • The employee my require the ability to do the following:
    • Lift 100 lbs from ground and pull 100 lbs of force.
    • Climb and work from ladders.
    • Fully squat, stoop, kneel or reach for extended periods of time.
    • Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions.
Working Environment
  • Work will be performed in a warehouse setting, operating a motor vehicle and at construction sites. The employee may be exposed to:
    • Dirt, dust and grease
    • Moderate to high noise levels
    • A variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, etc.
Salary Range
USD $85,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
