Job Description
The Events Manager on UC Riverside's University Events team plans, implements, and serves as the primary point of contact for Chancellor, Provost, and Government Relations events. This position manages events including but not limited to employee recognition activities, campus social events, town halls, Chancellor's picnic, Faculty Scholars Day, VIP visits, community gatherings with key constituencies, Chancellor's Distinguished Lecture Series, and other events and meetings (in-person and online). This position works closely with the Associate Chancellor in planning Chancellor's residence events. The incumbent assists with the coordination and production of campus-wide public ceremonies and high-profile major events. The Events Manager works collaboratively with campus stakeholders, service providers, and vendors to create successful special events that will make a positive impression on UC Riverside's constituents and will enhance the University's image and attractiveness as a worthy focus of charitable giving and other forms of support.

The full salary range for the Events Manager position is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $64,300 - $71,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
