Job Description

This position is responsible for providing extraordinary guest service at all times. This person will be communicating with guests, servers, and management in order to provide extraordinary service. This person will be working directly with all service members and be responsible for bussing and resetting tables. This person will also be responsible for designated side work as assigned and requested by management and perform any other job related duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities
    Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene; be ready to work and on time
  • To comply with food handling standards
  • To completely understand and execute Bob's service standards
  • Must be "TIPS" certified
  • Perform all opening and closing side work, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Fold napkins.
  • Wipe and fill salt & pepper shakers
  • Prep Butter
  • Prep Pickles
  • Fill oil & vinegar bottles
  • Stock sugar cadies
  • Wipe down check presenter and pre-stuff with comment cards
  • Restock waiter station with rolls of paper for printer
  • Place & light candles in votives and set them on tables
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors of any debris including under the tables accordingly
  • Stock all tablecloths and napkins
  • Attend mandatory pre-shift meeting to review menu, specials, 86's, VIP guests, special instructions and all other pertinent information
  • Attendance and participation in training sessions
  • Ensure the prompt, courteous service to all guest maintaining a professional attitude at all times
  • Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Refer to the guest by names whenever possible
  • Polish and stock all silverware, flatware and glasses for the restaurant, bar and the cooking line
  • Assist servers in bussing tables
  • Assist servers in bringing soiled dishes, glassware and utensils to the dishwashing station in the kitchen and separate (breakdown) in the appropriate manner
  • Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables when guest leave
  • Empty trash receptacles behind the bar, service stations, and bussing stations
  • Empty dirty linen behind the bar, service stations and bussing stations
  • Refill ice bins behind bar and before and during service
  • Fill wine buckets with ice
  • Restock and supply refrigerators
  • Bring tablecloths & napkins to be folded. Help fold napkins during slow times
  • Bring up coffee, tea and sugar products so that the coffee station can be restocked
  • Assist in cleaning of the restaurant. For example, wiping down shelves, cleaning low boy fridges, breaking down coffee stations
  • Complete any other duties required by Management
  • Remain in the designated work area during shift

$15.99 - $21.33 Hourly

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • 2 years previous experience in a 4 diamond hotel or restaurant environment
  • Previous Micros experience preferred
  • Ability to carry up to 30 IBS
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
