We are currently looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our team! $2,000 Sign on BONUS!

Day Shift Hours: 5:50AM-6:00PM on a 2-2-3 Schedule (will also receive $1.50 shift premium for hours worked after 6PM)

Pay rate: $23.50

As a Production Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for IFS inventory system (raw materials, packaging and finished goods) accuracy, maintenance and review. This is completed through accurate shop order processing and execution.

A Taste of the Job:

  • Prepare Shop Order Folders and coordinate with other departments to ensure that supporting documentation is included so that the Folder is complete and ready prior to the schedule start date
  • Ensure all materials and resources are available by validating shop order requisites
  • Regularly collect material tracking information from the floor, issue materials into the IFS database, and receive WIP or Finished Goods for each Shop Order being run.
  • Collect completed paperwork from the floor and verify that the information on it has been correctly recorded during previous collections.
  • Generate WIP labeling tags for Silos, Bins, WIP Totes, etc.
  • Generate License Plates and Face Plates for Finished Goods labeling.
  • Close all shop orders within one business day after manufacturing line is no longer making the shop order part
  • Ensure that all Shop Order Paperwork has been collected (Recipes, CPCs, Parameter Sheets, Material Tracking Sheets, etc.)
  • Organize, correlate, and verify information accuracy prior to material reconcile.
  • Reconcile materials used against materials recorded and correct any data entry problems that can be identified.
  • Investigate any discrepancies within the shop order (over or under-issued materials)
  • Periodically review IFS Inventory Queries to identify potential needs for physical inventory counts.
  • Review physical WIP counts and maintain the WIP Tracking System.
  • Review upcoming shop orders to ensure that there are no material shortages

Path for Success:

  • Minimum of high school diploma, some college preferred
  • Strong computer skills; experience beyond Microsoft programs is desirable.
  • Knowledge of plant operations, food industry preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of raw material usage, recipes, line operations, WIP movement, and finished goods packaging.
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems is desirable.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills, mathematical skills, organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
