Symetra has awesome opportunity to join our Technology and Operations organization as a Senior Technical Program Manager!
About the roleAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, you have an important role at Symetra's Technology and Operations organization focused on Workforce Benefits business solutions. You are responsible for leading large and complex technical projects from inception to completion. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure that project goals are met within the constraints of budget, time, engineering capacity and company standards.
Key responsibilities include defining technical requirements, identifying solutions, and establishing delivery rhythm. You must be adept at balancing business needs with technical constraints and overseeing all aspects of a project.
Your skillset includes proficiency in current web and cloud technologies, operations, code reviews, source control management, and software development lifecycle practices. You should be capable of building processes, managing technical relations with partner teams, and leading quality assurance processes. Additionally, you should have experience in managing a portfolio of integration projects and be able to track and report on defined metrics for development and delivery.
On a regular basis, you will be working closely with business, operations, IT, product management, and UX design teams, and translate concepts into engineering tasks. Your superb communication skills will help bring alignment with partner teams and present program status effectively.

Salary Range: $121,300 - $202,200 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.
