About the Role:

The Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient management and processing of documents and images within the organization. This position involves utilizing imaging equipment and software to scan, digitize, organize, and maintain various types of documents and images. The Imaging Specialist ensures accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of scanned materials to support operational and archival needs.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, such as scanners and digital cameras, to accurately scan and digitize documents, photographs, and other materials.
  • Use imaging software to enhance, edit, and manipulate scanned images as needed, ensuring clarity, readability, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Organize scanned documents and images into electronic files and folders according to established naming conventions, categorization criteria, and indexing systems.
  • Enter metadata, keywords, and other relevant information into document management systems or databases to facilitate search and retrieval of scanned materials.
  • Perform quality checks on scanned images to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specified standards, identifying and rectifying any errors or discrepancies.
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of electronic document repositories, including file storage, version control, and archival processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments or external clients to prioritize scanning requests, track job progress, and ensure timely delivery of scanned materials.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for imaging equipment and software, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Adhere to privacy, security, and regulatory requirements governing the handling and processing of sensitive documents and images, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using imaging equipment, software, and tools, with demonstrated experience in document scanning and image processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing scanning and data entry tasks.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, databases, and file organization principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and convey information accurately.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to established procedures and guidelines.


"The pay range for this position starts at $15.50; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
