Position Title: SBA Accounting Analyst I

Business Unit: Commercial Banking

Reports to: Small Business Finance Accounting Manager

Position Overview:

The responsibilities of this position will vary as needed including the 1502 process, the loan sales process, DDA and g/l review and maintenance, department reporting, data analysis, correspondence with SBA and FTA researching and fixing problems that arise in all aspects of the SBF department processes. The position will require deductive reasoning, skill in researching and determining root causes of problems that occur then creating solutions to the problems. The position will back up and assist the SBA Accounting Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Completes month end portfolio 1502 reports, daily 1502 reports as required, provides responses to SBA and FTA as required.

Performs daily, weekly and monthly recon activities for all g/ls and accounts used by the SBF Department.

Performs Department Reporting and Data analysis.

Serves as back up for all stages of the loan sales process.

Supports all other teams as necessary (Construction, Servicing, Special Assets, Closing, Underwriting and Sales) as example the 172 payment process, customer deposit review and maintenance, funding issues, boarding issues, problem solving and deductive reasoning to handle special circumstances as they occur.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

MS Excel - Intermediate Level

Excellent project management skills

Minimum 3 years of banking operations or SBA and 504 lending operations including loan funding or related responsibilities
