Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Associates in Milford, NJ!

Salary

  • $20.00 per hour
  • 2nd shift differential is $1.00 per hour / 3rd shift differential is $1.00 per hour
  • You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.
  • This role is eligible for our Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus.

Shift

  • Currently hiring for 3rd shift
  • Only candidates who are available to work this shift will be considered.
  • This may include overtime, holidays, and weekends.
  • Orientation will be on 1st shift (7am-3pm), and you will be assigned your permanent shift after your orientation.
  • Milford operates on a point based attendance program.

Shift Hours

  • 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm; weekends and overtime as needed
  • 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm; weekends and overtime as needed
  • 3rd shift: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am; weekends and overtime as needed

Production Associates play an integral part in maintaining the success of the plant by providing coverage and support for various machine centers throughout the plant. We are located directly across the Delaware River from Riegelsville, PA, in a picturesque countryside. We are just 20 minutes from Easton, PA; 20 minutes from Phillipsburg, NJ; 20 minutes from Quakertown, PA; 25 minutes from Bethlehem, PA; and 30 minutes from Doylestown, PA.

What You Will Do

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
  • Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
  • Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
  • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
  • One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment

Other Considerations/Physical Requirements

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment

For this role, we anticipate paying $20.00 per hour.
