We are currently seeking applicants for a Risk Analyst position in our Risk Management department within the Accounting & Finance division located in Springfield, MO.

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing technical risk analysis including insurance renewal applications, setting up loss files, and tracking out-of-service fire systems.
  • Applying standard techniques in risk avoidance, risk transfer, and financing duties.
  • Organizing and collecting information relevant to insurance renewals, payment of workers' compensation fees, and claim information regarding losses.
  • Providing insurance certificates to MECIP and AECI vendors as requested.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products - must be able to create, format, import, chart, and organize data.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Willingness to identify and participate in continuing educational opportunities about insurance plans and related industry issues.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
