IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager in our Rock Island, IL office. The Talent Acquisition Manager will provide overall direction and management to the broader talent acquisition team, partnering with key stakeholders to attract, hire, and successfully onboard highly qualified talent for both Campus and Experienced Hire positions. This role will collaborate across business units to develop and drive strategies, enhancing the company's ability to attract and retain workers.The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for regular reporting and forecasting and will help build dashboards, goals, and metrics aligned with company initiatives such as affirmative action, diversity, and succession planning to ensure the staffing goals and needs are of the organization are met effectively.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead and develop a Talent Acquisition Team, providing oversight and guidance for Experienced/Professional Level Recruitment as well as Campus Recruitment
  • Build and carry out, in collaboration with key stakeholders and leaders, IMEG's recruiting strategy across the company including employer branding, sourcing and candidate experience
  • Develop strategic partnerships with executive leaders and key stakeholders across the firm on their talent agendas
  • Foster a culture of understanding and utilization of data and analytics, tools, and market intelligence to help shape our capabilities and address the strategic Talent Acquisition needs of IMEG
  • Assess recruiting analytics and hiring metrics to provide key business updates, stakeholder reviews, and service level evaluations to ensure execution of key business objectives are being met, in order to maintain and enhance measures of success, and to drive consistent and repeatable hiring results
  • Oversee and manage the enhancement and ongoing development of IMEG's university programs while fostering relationships with top engineering universities and diverse campus organizations across the country. Responsible for the oversight of all formal campus events with the intent to build our employer brand, attract early-career students and alumni
  • Manage team performance and identify & develop training plans to build and reinforce recruiter capabilities and best practices in conjunction with Team Leads
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the Recruiting module within Workday, identifying and implementing system enhancements to increase user experience - both for applicants, Hiring Managers, and Human Resources team members
  • Lead the identification of outreach opportunities centered around diversity, inclusion, and Veteran's hiring
  • Stay current on new talent acquisition techniques and provide training for other team members
  • Support overall company adherence to fair hiring practices by periodically reviewing hiring and interviewing processes and assessing job postings to ensure that they are free of discriminatory language, complying with all local, state, and federal employment laws
  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Lead, oversee Search Firms relationships, when appropriate, and ensure contracts for services meet IMEG requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with a strong ability to analyze data through the use of charts, graphs, formulas, and advanced features
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies to IMEG's hiring practices
  • Familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS), preferably Workday, and/or the ability to quickly learn computer applications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required
  • Minimum of seven years required, 12 years preferred of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
  • A combination of a minimum of five years of experience in Experienced Hire Recruitment and/or College/Campus Recruitment required, seven years preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Employee Onboarding strongly preferred
  • Experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience required
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred
