Job Description
Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $13.50-$14.30/hour + $1.20/hour weekly attendance bonus
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
Come work for a family-oriented plastic company located right in Perry, MO! We are hiring Machine Operators for all three shifts!
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate machines to produce product
- Inspect product for flaws
- Perform secondary operations to parts if necessary
- Fill out all check sheets that pertain to the job that is being ran
- Grind runner and scrap parts
- Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife
- Package finished product and complete custom/private label assembly and packaging, which could include one or more of the following operations - assembling multi-packs, capping, shrink wrapping, labeling, boxing and sorting
- Keep work area clean
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Stand, sit, kneel, or squat for up to 8-hour day
- Lift up to 40lbs regularly
- Bend and twist 75% of shift
- Ability to use knives, clippers, and etc.
