Job Functions

• Work with Project Managers and customers in preparation of system quotations and runoff - this includes lead engineering, software development, process development and robot programming
• Technical resource to customers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers
• Provide consulting, lead engineering of new designs for customers and Genesis products
• Use PLC and various other controls programming for standard products and custom equipment
• Debugging operation of the workcell and establish a fully functional and safe machine
• Educate Engineering staff on the standard product software and system operation
• Evaluate, select and develop new applications for emerging technologies (maintaining Genesis' unique value proposition to the automation market)
• Communicate with customers, both internal and external, to thoroughly understand their needs and to clearly communicate the proposed solution
• Document and organize procedures and interfacing of process equipment
• Responsible for system startups at customer facility
• Establish the maximum performance of the system

• AS in Engineering required (BS in Engineering preferred)
• One year of relevant work experience
• Honest, trustworthy team player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform mechanical modifications to equipment
• Multi-tasking skills as you will work on several projects in various stages of completion
• Up to 60% travel required to various customers' facilities
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and observe and follow all safety regulations
