CNC Operator

Job Description
Position Title: CNC Operator - 1st + 2nd Shift
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 5:30am-4:00pm; 4:00pm-2:30am
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a CNC Operator position at a company in Davenport, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Production of parts and tools by use of CNC machines.
- Following customer and company "in-process inspections".
- Properly measuring final product using calipers, micrometers, and other quality assurance devices.
- Minimizing scrap parts/materials.
- Meeting production goals/quotas.
- Cleaning the machine and surrounding area.
CNC Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to bend occasionally throughout shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs occasionally throughout shift.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to stand throughout entire shift.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read & interpret calipers & micrometers a plus.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
