GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives, e.g., ISO, Lean or Six Sigma.
* Responsible for most complex business and systems process analysis, design and simulation.
* Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
* Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
* Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
* Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.
* Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
* Measures performance against process requirements.
* Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
* Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
* May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
* Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
* May lead re-engineering team and act as project manager.
* Communicates team progress.
* Performs cost and benefit analyses.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.

Must have requirements:

Power BI Development

* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Power BI solutions

* Advanced experience creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

* Advanced understanding of Power BI architecture, data modeling, and best practices for optimizing performance and scalability

* Advanced experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources, such as databases, web services, and cloud platforms

SQL Programming Skills

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions

* Advanced experience optimizing SQL queries for performance, including indexing strategies, query tuning, and database optimization techniques

* Advanced understanding of relational database concepts, such as normalization, data integrity, and transaction management

* Advanced experience in working with various database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL

Data Modeling Skills

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex data models to support business intelligence and analytics solutions

* Advanced understanding of dimensional modeling concepts, such as star schemas, snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions

* Advanced experience in creating and maintaining data models using tools like Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), or other data modeling tools

* Advanced experience in developing and optimizing data models for large-scale datasets, ensuring high performance and scalability

* Advanced experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective data models. Skilled at describing the models to stakeholders in user friendly terms.



FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $73,250.00 - $119,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
