The Role:
Analyzing content and data sources to discover data that support a given business domain through qualitative and quantitative assessments
Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business and technical needs to address client challenges;
Collaborating across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive solutions are delivered
Interfacing directly with clients virtually or in-person through interviews, focus groups, workshops, and/or formal presentations
Conducting analysis of vendor tool offerings and advise clients on semantic tool selection and configuration
Managing a project timeline and ensuring the on-time submission of client deliverables
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a field with strong emphasis in business or data analysis, computer science, information systems, mathematics, philosophy, or other fields related to technology and analysis
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities as well as working collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask
The ability to meet daily, weekly, and long-term deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work independently on important projects with minimal supervision
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Aptitude to quickly learn new skills and abilities on-the-job
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive public speaking and/or facilitation experience
Experience in project-based work and/or client-facing roles
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) with experience in presentations and/or facilitation
Understanding of and passion for logic (e.g., logic puzzles, linguistic and grammar rules, mathematical proofs, set theory, formal logic, etc.)
Experience with or interest in coding languages for data analysis (i.e. Python, R, SQL, SPARQL, etc.)
Ability to adapt to new technology, problem-solve, and learn new skills quickly and effectively.
Detail-oriented to be "last eye" on deliverables.
Basic understanding of prioritization approaches for content and data analysis.
Some examples of the projects our Technical Analysts have assisted on include:
Designing and implementing the model and logic behind a recommendation engine for a large Healthcare Workforce Solutions Provider to recommend relevant training courses to professionals;
Analyzing a major Management Consulting Company's data sources for data quality and data mapping to serve as the foundation for a knowledge graph;
Working as a project manager for the World Bank in order to design and develop a mobile app for use in water and sanitation projects in several developing countries;
Gathering requirements and implementing change management practices for the National Park Service in order to create a single, world-class knowledge and learning platform; and
