· Designs, develops and delivers training and qualification materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), ensuring training materials adhere to all applicable rules, regulations and licenses. · Creates training material in multiple delivery methods (e.g., classroom, Web-based and computer-based). · Assists in the identification of evaluation methods and tools for measuring results. · Reviews documentation such as procedures/regulatory changes, lessons learned, corrective actions, operating experience and training feedback to determine impacts to training program materials. · Works with applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during the development of training materials to ensure technical accuracy. · Maintains knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure competence commensurate with assigned responsibilities. · Use various feedback methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training (e.g., feedback questionnaires, field observations). · Performs periodic review of training program material to ensure technical accuracy. · Modifies training materials to meet the needs of a particular audience/individual and provides “expert” advice to employees on a particular topic. · Demonstrated SME on applicable training topics. · Performs other duties as assigned. · Serves as lead LMS Administrator/ES Academy SME for EnergySolutions, which includes: o Training and mentoring all new and existing training personnel in the ES Academy o Helps new projects get set up in the ES Academy o Serving as liaison between UL and EnergySolutions o Troubleshooting ES Academy issues o Monitoring changes/updates to the software and communicating any potential issues/changes to ES Training personnel o Facilitating working group for ES Training personnel o Periodically auditing ES Academy for accuracy of employees/contractors/training items · Serves as Corporate Training Coordinator, which includes: o Working with line managers and SMEs to create curricula and training items in the ES Academy o Assigning/crediting training items in the LMS for corporate functional areas o Creating/revising training items and materials · ES Academy Reporting point of contact · Assisting in other training development/implementation as necessary · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Strong presentation skills · Strong problem-solving skills · Strong analytical skills · Strong interpersonal skills · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy · Working knowledge of SAT process · Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products and their use (especially Microsoft Word and PowerPoint) · Ability to sit · Ability to effectively communicate; speaking, reading, understanding, writing and hearing clear English; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location · Basic math and computer skills · Ability to work inside an office · Ability to perform highly repetitive motions with fingers, hands, wrists, and shoulders · Ability to work alone, work with others, and interact with the public · Ability to perform under deadline pressure · Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines |
