Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create fact-based data sets and business process recommendations in relation to overall business needs
  • Develop business metrics and management dashboards
  • Work within SQL and Business Intelligence systems.
  • Lead the process for identifying and gathering appropriate business requirements to create the necessary solution that satisfies business needs
  • Perform data maintenance and cleansing to ensure accuracy
  • Facilitate requirements gathering within one or more business functional areas to develop a comprehensive business requirements document
  • Document and track current and future state business processes and requirements across multiple functional business area
  • Perform internal and external research on topics ranging from business opportunities to market analysis
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on business processes and systems within their functional area of expertise.
  • Identify and close errors and/or gaps in existing processes & ability to establish new processes
  • Collaborate and share the results and outcomes of relevant analysis
  • Possess the ability to think creatively, critically, and independently to achieve desired outcomes
  • Present outcomes and recommendations in a clear and precise manner utilizing Access, Databases, Excel, Word, or PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • 3-plus years of experience in business field
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working independently and taking initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant experience with Excel analytical tools - pivot tables, auto-filters, macros, etc.
  • Significant experience with Access & Database tools including reporting tools
  • Familiarity and proficiency working with BI or related systems
  • Experience in data regression and trending techniques
