A paid, part-time position (15 - 20 hours per week) is available for an Intern to work in the Washington DC office of AIR to support the Disability and Rehabilitation practice area. This internship is an opportunity for current full-time master's or doctoral-level students to work with researchers, technical assistance providers, and policy experts on projects that involve disability research, training and development activities, and disability policy.

*Assist staff in the review, identification, and development of scholarly information describing disability and/or rehabilitation research findings
*Assist project teams in developing technical assistance materials informed by disability policy

*A full-time master's or doctoral student in disability policy and research, economics, public policy, or related social science field (required)
*Interest or experience in systematic reviews, econometrics, applied statistics, survey design and analysis, training and technical assistance, resource development
*Interest or experience in disability services, implementing research designs, and/or analyzing research data, both qualitative and/or quantitative
*Experience with Vocational Rehabilitation a plus
*For some but not all projects: Able to apply advanced statistical methods, and communicate effectively about these methods to non-technical audiences
*Preference will be given to students with disabilities and candidates with personal or professional experience with individuals with disabilities
